If Ken can get gay-bashed...

Hey All

Unfortunately I have sad news to report to you tonight.

Ken (Saragosa) was assaulted. None of us students know very much of the specifics, but as far as we've been told it seems to be a gay-bashing. Though this campus is prone to rumors. He was nonetheless assaulted.

I mayhaps realized that I act the way I do because of the fear of retaliation for acting any differently? Am I big because that's the way I was grown up, or did I grow up becoming big to protect myself?

It's not really sunken in yet. Ken was probably bashed (only head...but still) for his race (Latino-asian) and his sexuality (queer/gay).

Maybe my world is a bit deflated. Maybe I'm jaded. I just don't know.

Action is the key, but I won't know until tomorrow what to do .
