I read this and thought....oh i've read this book before. Then it took a couple seconds and I thought, "hmm....what screwed up people! To think that this book could be offensive in any way, a bit strong or graphic maybe, but enough to be banned AND destroyed?" I wonder if any of the parents had ever even read the book the whole way through. It's sad. I really liked this book it's a great way to get into Latin American/Latino books.
